Booking & Scheduling Integrations
Integration services joining booking systems, scheduling tools and third-party apps — with automated reminders that cut missed appointments.
Manual workflows automated · fewer missed appointments
The problem
Appointment-driven businesses tend to run on several systems that each hold part of the truth: one takes the booking, another runs the calendar, a third sends the messages, and people copy details between them by hand. Every manual hop is a chance for a booking to be missed or doubled, and a missed appointment is lost revenue that nobody notices until the end of the month.
What I built
I built integration services in C++ and PHP connecting booking systems, scheduling tools and third-party apps, replacing the manual copy-and-paste between them. On top of that I designed automated booking and reminder flows, so a customer hears about an appointment before they can forget it.
The data underneath lived in two engines, MySQL and MS SQL Server, and the sync between them was the slowest, most fragile part of the chain. I reworked that cross-application sync to cut its latency, so the systems agreed with each other sooner.
The result
The workflows that had been manual became automated, and the reminder system reduced missed appointments. It was my first real taste of integration work — systems that each work fine alone and disagree the moment they meet — which turned out to be the thread running through most of what I’ve built since.
