I'm a backend engineer with 10 years building and scaling distributed systems across fintech, EdTech, and enterprise SaaS. My work tends to live where getting it wrong is expensive: order execution under load, real-time learning platforms that can't drop a session, multi-tenant products, and KYC and payment workflows that have to be auditable.

I've architected platforms holding 100K+ concurrent users, led the move from monoliths to service-oriented systems, and set the database-performance and CI/CD standards that teams around me build on. I care about event-driven design, resilient consumers, and the kind of observability that turns a 2am incident into a quick answer instead of a long night. I also mentor, most recently 8+ engineers on system design, clean architecture, and testing.

    Senior Backend Software Engineer

    INGOT Brokers · Amman, Jordan

    • Drive the architectural vision for a core trading platform serving 100K+ concurrent users, establishing system-design patterns adopted across multiple engineering teams.
    • Built a custom financial CRM that unifies lead management, client onboarding, and KYC workflows into a single domain-driven platform.
    • Architected the Kafka event layer between trading, risk, and CRM services, enabling real-time streaming with sub-100ms inter-service latency.
    • Lead database performance work across MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL, and MongoDB, and set the CI/CD standards that moved releases from weekly to daily.

    • Championed the migration from a monolithic Laravel app to Go and Node.js microservices, improving deployment independence across teams.
    • Designed real-time assessment and live-tutoring backends handling concurrent sessions over WebSocket with Redis pub/sub.

    Backend Software Engineer

    • Architected a high-performance trading platform from the ground up: order execution and position management handling millions of transactions daily.
    • Built the real-time MetaTrader (MT4/MT5) sync pipeline with Maxwell CDC, Kafka, and PostgreSQL, processing hundreds of millions of records across broker servers.
    • Engineered an adaptive Python consumer with circuit breakers and dead-letter queues, cutting full resync from days to hours.
    • Migrated trading services to AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch) and secured APIs with OAuth2 for financial-data compliance.
